The Skrap Pack are descendants of the infamous MMA Team GRACIE FIGHTER
In the early 2000s MMA was beginning to explode in the Bay Area as well as Team Gracie Fighter
The Great CESAR GRACIE assigned Jake Shields to plant the Gracie Fighter flag in San Francisco
Jake Shields began building an army and one of his first students was Gilbert Melendez
After endless hours of brutal training on the mats,
After competing and proving themselves in world class grappling tournaments,
After international MMA battles in hostile territories,
It was undeniable that these two entities were regarded as two of the worlds best mixed martial artists and at that point respect was earned.
It is important to know that these two did not reach the top alone.
They did it with their Pack.
Coming from a wrestling background they knew the importance of having teammates they could call family. Meaning they aligned themselves with people who knew the importance of being loyal, accountable, hard working, non complaining, goal driven… warriors.

In search of a way to stand out amongst our generation of Gracie Fighter Athletes we decided to come up with a name that represents our era.
The SKRAP PACK was born.
A gang of hardworking individuals always ready to Skrap.
If you see someone wearing a Skrap Pack shirt know it represents those who are willing to endure whatever obstacles are in ones way to building a legacy.
In times of non-stop complaining the Skrap Pack stays goal driven and training.
We don’t want your handouts because everything we have has been earned.
Now that our journey in MMA combat has ended our goal is to pass down not only the knowledge of combat but also the knowledge of life to the next generation.
